I remember when I was a kid, Spiderman was a TV show in prime time. It sucked. Hulk was a show in prime time. It sucked. They made those heros into whimps because they did not have the tecnology to do what was in the comics.
Now, they do.
TV and the movies are so much fun to watch these days.

Ain't that the truth. What they are able to do these days is just plain amazing.
But...something is to be said for writing as well. Comics like Batman excel when the writing is great. Same for X-Men, etc.
I so wanted to love Birds of Prey TV show when it aired. It is one of my favorite comics when Chuck Dixon wrote it. But bad writing sunk that show from the start.
Give me CGI, but give me great writing and I'll be a fan!
P.S. Welcome to Zocolo, GArthurWoods!

You mean Birds of Prey isn't on anymore? Not that I have watched it in well over a month, but I did watch it. Yeah, the writing kinda sucked on it. The chicks were cute though.

Yeah, the chicks were cute, the acting even improved some as the show went on. But it got the axe a month or two ago, but unlike Fox, WB showed all the eps shot. I think the last eps were a week or two ago...
